School is starting

Well as some of you know I am a teacher. The summer is over for us. School started for teachers on Monday and students on Thursday. I had the stomach flu this weekend and now with school starting I have not got my artwork pictures posted. I hope to get that done soon..

The Olympics are also taking up some of my time. I love gymnastics, diving, and beach volleyball. So instead of working in my craft room I have been watching the Olympics when I get home in the evening.

If you are a teacher and starting a new year I wish you the best. Good luck to all the students out there starting a new year. I hope it is a great year.

Summer is Flying

Wow the summer is flying. To recap: I had surgery, helped build my new deck, had PDCU( summer school for teachers) went home for my Dad's 66th birthday and I went to Close To My Heart Convention in Orlando. If you have never been to to CTMH function they keep you busy from the top of the morning until well into the evening. It is a great Experience. As a consutant you learn soooo much. Well I decided that since I had never been to Orlando Iwas going to go early and do Something. I made two new wonderful freinds, Christine and Starr and we went to the Magical Kingdom.. We rode rides, went to shows, shopped, and ate great food. It was a Wonderful Day. WE are pictured below. This picture was taken at the front of the park.

I was one of the lucky winners of $300 in Stamps. That totally rocked!!!!

Here I am pictured with my roommates Shannon and LeAnn. The are both from Nebraska and I didn't know them until I went to Convention. I made so many new friends.

This is a picture of me at the Create and TAke. We made a mini Album using the New Acrylic Album. It was totally cool and I hope to use it as a workshop in the fall.

Now I am back to the real world. We had 7th grade Registration today, so I spent most of the day showing students where their classes were and how to get their lockers open.

Thanks for looking.

Always find your happy place
