Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #573

 I am always creating, but rarely join a challenge.  I wanted to branch out and try new things and I follow Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge on Facebook

So...

I rotated the card and mixed it up a little.  Still used  a printed paper

from Close To My Heart's  Spring Gnome Collection and Honey Bunny paper Collection

I used my Cherry Blossom Stamp Set from March 2024  Hero Arts Monthly Premium Kit

The sentiment is from a retired Close To My Heart Stamp set.

April Stamp of the Month Little Hedge Hogs-- Easel Card

 This stamp set is soo cute I have made lots of cards using it.

Today I want to share a card I used that doesn't use the hedge hog.  

It is a variation of an Easel Card.

Above is the image of the card  closed.  You can see the fold in the card that goes diagonal 

from corner to corner.  The Hello comes from the Little Hedgehogs stamp set.  The paper is Honey Bunny Paper 

 

 The picture above shows the inside of the card.  The flower and leaves are also from the Little 

Hedgehog Stamp Set.  The colored paper is Honey Bunny Coordinating Cardstock.

The picture above shows the card open .  This is a simple and quick card. 

 The images on the front need to be something that is not 

directional.  That is one of the reasons there is not

a Hedgehog on the front of the card.

Little Hedgehog-- April Stamp of the Month

 The Little Hedgehog is such a cute Stamp. 

The images are colored with my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers.

Paper used is from Hello Bunny and Spring Gnomes

When you open the card there is a pop up inside and I decided to add another hedgehog.

The video shows the  card and what it looks like when opened.

Cardstock Carnival- Let your True Colors Shine

If you are a paper crafter then you know there is never enough cardstock and colors.  Close To My Heart Cardstock which is a white core base is on sale this month.  Get it while you can.  As some of you may know there are only a few more months to get Close To My Heart products.

Isn't this a cute card.  I used different colors of green cardstock to create the rolling hills for the bunny to be hopping on.

Bear Hugs and Deer Wishes

 I love any stamps that have animals in it.  This stamp is so cute.  I made many cards with it and wanted to share them. Each card is a little different and uses all Close To My Heart products. 

Z3686 Stitched Fancy Bracket Thin Cuts 

This card also has an embossing folder for the  Z7085 snowflakes and a stencil used to color them

I created a mountain stencil using paper and sponged the sky 

and background.

This card uses a die that I mentioned in the previous post.

I also created my own stencil using paper and scissors

to sponge the background with.  The fox is raised on foam tape.

Z7111 comes with thin cuts that make it easy to cut out the shapes.  No 

Fussy cutting necessary.

Say it with Flowers- Fun Fold Card

This Fun fold card is so neat.  It has a front -- That is in the picture above and a back that you will see in the picture below.

Want to learn how to make this card?  

This is what you will need.

For the Front of the card

I used a Floral print 2 pieces 1 3/4 X 5 1/4

The Green Print is 2 1/2 X 5 1/2

The pink strips are 1/2 X 2 1/2 - You will need 2 of them

There is a small piece of glitter 1/8 X 3

The  Back of the Card

Green Print 2 pieces 1 3/4 X 5 1/4

Green Print 3 1/4 X 5 1/4

White 3 X 5

The Base of the Card is 5 1/2 X9

Put the paper horizontal  then 

 Score at 2 and 3 1/4.  I then flipped it 

and scored it at 2 and  3 1/4 on the opposite end

I have never uploaded a video before.  The video shows the finished card.  This should help you figure out how to assemble it. I actually learned how to do this card from a Jennifer McQuire Video

February Stamp Of The Month - Say it with Flowers

Say it with Flowers

I just love this stamp set.  It can be used in so many ways. 

I have made a few cards to show how it can be used 

The card above is colored using watercolor.  

The card above is colored using watercolor paints purchased at a local craft store.

The above card is also colored with watercolors.  The squares come from a die 

Z7129.  This was a great way to use pieces that were left over from a different card.

I also used Glitter Paper
