Surgery Tomorrow

I don't have any artwork to show today. I have been busy getting things ready for surgery. It is Gallbladder, so it shouldn't be a big deal. I wanted to be ready no matter what. Will be back with artwork by the end of the week, unless something goes wrong.

Quotes

I was blog surfing and found some really great quotes and saying, click here to see them.

Here are a few that really made me think:

She turned her Can't
into Cans
and her dreams
into Plans

Courage is simply the willingness to be afraid and act anyway.
by Dr. Robert Anthony

Courage Doesn't always roar.
Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, " I will try again Tomorrow"
by Mary Anne Radmacher

Sometimes in the winds of change we find our true direction.

Double Pocket Cards

Saw the instructions for these cards on another website and had to try it. They are so easy. Hope you enjoy them. All Products Close To My Heart
They use a 81/2 X 11 piece of cardstock.
Simply fold in half vertically,
unfold and
then fold horizontally.
After you have folded both directions lay it with print side down vertically in front of you.
You will cut the horizontal center fold from the left to the center( do not go all the way across).
Then fold the bottom right corner so the the outside edges meets the middle Vertical fold.
Now look at the top left side.
Fold the outside corner so that is is about 1 1/2 inches from the center fold.
You will have a piece of paper with the top left corner folded and the bottom right corner folder. Now fold the complete top left section so that it is on top of the top right section.
The lower left section gets folded under the lower right section. You will have the corner of the section that needs folded to match the lower right corner that is already folded.
After that is folded simply fold it up and it will lay on the top section. When you glue be sure to glue so that you stil have pockets.
Decorate however you want. I used my Coluzzle to make tags and then ribbon. I also used different stamp sets to decorate them.

I used the Blue Ribbon Level 2 Paper pack for both cards. The top card also used the

June Stamp of the month: With Love

The pockets are perfect for gift cards, I put lottery scratchers in the ones I send. They make cute little something with a little surprise for some.

New Cards

Hello Everyone.
School is out. I have a few days before summer school starts. I am teaching the last two weeks, but am helping out some days as well. We actually start tomorrow and I will be there tomorrow, but I don't have to plan, grade, or do any duty for two weeks.

Here is some artwork that I have been working on. Hope you like it.

All Artwork is made using Close To My Heart Products. I also used the Cuttlebug embossing folder for the brown stip on the Cat Card.
