A few cards for a class

The cards you will be seeing for the next few posts are cards made for a Christmas Card Class I am teaching at the end of the month. It uses X7115a Level 1 Jingle paper packet from CTMH and some stamps. The level 1 paper pack has pre-printed papers as well as printed and solid paper.

The Level 1 paper packs come with 2 sheets of stickers. The card on the right above uses part of a border sticker and the present is a sticker that was with the pack. The scallops are Nesties. the card on the left has stamps from C1378 Heartfelt Christmas. I love this stamp set.

The card above on the left uses a sticker from the Level 1 kit and the card on the right uses a border sticker and stamps from D1383 Santa's List and a saying from D1388 Card Chatter.

The card uses an image from D1383 Santa's List Stamp set. I used coordinating markers to color in the image. The background paper is from one of the pre-printed pages in X7115A Jingle Level 1 scrapbook packet.
Thanks for looking. Look for more on Sunday.

Holiday Hoopla Card

This card uses a new CTMH stamp set called D1382 Holiday Hoopla. The paper is all Close To My Heart. Printed paper is from Creative Basics Jingle.

The Creative Basics Jingle paper pack is perfect for cardmakers. It includes 12 – 12" × 12" B&T Duos® papers (6 each of 2 designs) and 4 yards of 3/8" Juniper grosgrain ribbon.)

This picture shows the Hologram HIghlights embossing powder I used better. It really shines. Wish it had shown up better on the picture.

/ Color Me Monday Challenge & Whimsy Stamps Fun Fall Challenge

The goody bag and the card are my entry in the Whimsy Stamps Challenge Fun Fall Colors

This is a 2,5,7,10 bag. They are really easy and cute. It will be perfect for Halloween Candy

You can find instructions on SplitCoast Stampers. If you aren't a member it is a great place for inspiration as well as tutorials.

The colors are from Jeanetter Lynton's Color Me Monday. Every Monday she has a different color combination. The color combination was Autumn Terracotta, Cocoa, Goldrush, and Sweet Leaf. There is Sweet Leaf around the square, even though it looks yellow in my picture.

This card also uses the colors from Color Me Monday. The Layout is from Wishes Simple Stripe. I used B1319 Four Seasons stamp set, and the acorn is from a retired set I think. I used a sponge to add the colors behind the tree. The Cocoa scalloped circle was made using my Nestabilites. I really like the way this card turned out.

I liked it so much that I decided to use it as my new Blog Header. I am not sure the colors are right, but it is there for now.

B-Day Card/ CPS Sketch 133

This is a card for a class I am will be teaching on Thursday. The layout Idea is from CPS.

I really like this Jingle Christmas paper and wanted to use it for a different purpose. I used my Creative memories wavy cutter to trim the paper to get the curved edge. The sentiment is from Delight in Everyday Stamp set, and I used Spellbinders nestabilities Labels Nine.

I tried to show the different levels of the card. Don't really like the picture, but I am not sure how to take this kind of picture. Anybody have any good ideas on how to do this?

I think the card turned out cute, but simple. A perfect combination.

More Glitter Cards & CPS 132

Still working with the Glitter Rub-ons. I saw the CPS challenge for this week and thought It would work perfect with some of the cards I needed to make. Hope you like them. Ribbon and printed paper is from Creative Basics Jingle Collection (CTMH). The Glitter Rub-ons are also one of the new products in the new Idea Book out this month.

The saying and the Snowflakes are Glitter Rub-ons. They don't show up well in the picture, but they are very pretty.

Thought I would try something a little different for this card. It is also based on the CPS 132, but I decided to use this really large Glitter Rub-on Ornament.

I cut the paper in advance and then used a repositionable adhesive to tape them down together. Then I put the rub-on sticker down. I started with the Silver Glitter for the top of the ornament and then used green for the bottom.

I added the saying last and used the blue glitter. I tried to use the ribbon at the top of the ornament, but the ribbon was too wide. It didn't look right.

Glitter Rub on Christmas Card Class

I finally got around to starting my Christmas Card Workshops. The cards below belong to the Glitter Rub-On Workshop. This isn't a finished set, but I am proud that I finally got something accomplished.

The paper I used is the Creative Basics Jingle Collection. It comes with 12 sheets of paper ( 6 of the stripe and 6 of the ornament) as well as the matching ribbon. I added a piece of solid juniper. All the cards were created using 1 piece of stripe, 1 piece of ornament, 1 juniper card stock, and ribbon.

The Glitter Rub-ons are something new. They comes with 2 of each desing and 3 different colored of glitter ( Green, Silver, & Blue)

The book or online does not show the gorgeous colors of the glitter. I am not sure that my pictures do a good job either.

In each picture the paper is cut the same, but I tried to make the cards slightly different. I thought this would create some variety with the cards.

S & D Challenge 7- Shaped

I love the way this card turned out. It is shaped perfect for the theme. I thought it would work perfect for the Sunflowers and Dragonflies Shaped Challenge. Be sure to check out all of their great cards.
I used nestabilities for the outside shape of the card. I used my coluzzle for the circle. I free cut the waves. The paper and stamps ( Makin' Waves C1365) are Close To My Heart. I thought the stamps was so cute and I had to have it.
Thanks for looking.
Check back on Wednesday for some Christmas Cards I have started working on for a workshop in October.
