Mistletoe Christmas Cards

Well Hello everyone.  I have not been a good blogger lately. As they say life gets in the way.  I have some more Christmas Cards for you today.  I hope you enjoy them. They were created for a card class I taught early this fall.
The first card used Mistletoe Paper level 2 and stickease from the same paper
The next card uses paper from the same kit, but the stamp set is called

The last card also uses paper from Mistletoe Level 2 and the stamp set is C1423 Captured Moments

I used a glue pen and glitter, but it doesn't show up very  much in the photograph.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope to get some more posted later.
Will be out of touch for a while after next week as I am having surgery.

Halloween/Studio J

Studio J is something that I wasn't sure I would like, but it turns out I LOVE it. The Halloween layout  is one that my nieces and I put together the day after Halloween
They thought it was cool and I found out how easy it was. The 8 year old loved picking colors, layouts, and pictures.  Then we decided together  what  journal about.

Thanks for stopping by.

If you are interested in trying out Studio J check it out at my website.

Mistletoe Card Class

Wow I have been working, but didn't get any art work posted.  I taught a Christmas Card Class today and here are some of the cards I came up with.

I used 1/2 of a level 2 Mistletoe Paper kit and the Mistletoe My Stickease stickers for the cards for the class.

I used baby powder on the back of the sticker to take the sticky away and then pop-dotted the sticker.

I will try and post all week, so that you can see all the cards that were made.  Some of them use the stamp of the month and I used other new stamps as well.

Thanks for stopping by.

Merry Monsters Smarty Treat

The Smarty Treat is easy, affordable, and looks cute. Below are the supplies I used.
The paper is 3X6 and it is scored at 2 3/4 and 3 1/4
The black paper is 2 1/4 by 3 -- you need to be sure and leave room for the ribbon.
The white paper that is stamped on is 2 X 3
Stamp and color the design however you want. I used Merry Mosters from Close To My Heart. They are soo cute.

I used my tombow to run a strip of adhesive to attach the Smarty.  Remember to do this before tying the Ribbon. I taught this as a free make and take  and kept trying to tie the ribbon before putting in the Smarty. Guess I wasn't that smart that day.
Below is the finished Product.  I think it turned out really cute.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope to post some of the the Christmas Cards for my Class I am teaching October 23rd very soon.

Today, Tomorrow & Yesterday

Today, Tomorrow, & Yesterday

Wow
I can't believe how long it has been since I posted.  Life is getting in my way.  Stress - what does this word mean to you?  Most people would think since I am single and don't have children that I don't have stress.  Between my job and my health issues, it is hard to get out of bed some days. I go to work and then when I get home I am soo tired that I don't even feel like going downstairs to create.
Well I know that creating helps me relax and that is what I have to do.

This card is actually from Convention, but due to family I didn't make it there. So I  got together with a friend and we made some of the cards.

This card is made using D1436 The Present. The stamp is very pretty. The paper is Olivia.  Talk about beautiful paper.
The card also uses our new Opaque pearls

How do you manage your stress?  Let me know and I will draw a name and send out goodies to the name I draw.

I am back

Well it has been a rough summer. June found me ill more than healthy.

My July was very rough as well. I lost my father on the 5th of July and even though he had been ill for the last year, we had finally found out what was wrong and thought everything was on the mend. I have sorta shut down except going home to help my mom. I now realize that I need to get back to the real world. I still have some rough days but am on my way back. So needless to say I have not been on the computer most of the summer.
I now hope to get my self in gear-- I have some artwork to share today. T.his card was originally made for my father for his birthday. His birthday was July 23rd.
I have recieved new products to showcase the new Idea Book that will be out in September. Be sure to check back at least weekly for my sneak peaks. The book has some great new products.

Summer is basically over and as a teacher it is time to get back to the classroom. Now if only the heat in Missouri would realize it doesn't have to be this hot.
Thanks for checking in
Besure to check out my website as we are having a great sale-- 2,4,6 for 8, we appreciate our customers.

Today's card is made using the June Stamp of the Month -D1422 Wonderful friends.

I think this a great set that could be used for multiple masculine cards.

This card has multiple layers and was a breeze to put together. I got the idea out of our Idea Book. Hope you enjoy it.

I was playing on it this morning when I should have been working ( sh. don't tell my boss) and
