Flower Pot & Blog Awards
I haven't been a very good blogger lately. Summer School has started and I have watched my Mojo slip away. My craft room is a mess and I know it needs organized, but I look at it and think why can't I afford a maid? Anyone out there feel that way. I need motivation from all sides.
My Friend Jenn at Mueller Time got the award from our wonderful Scattered Hearts Leader Tina Sutton
So now on to the Art work.........
I have been seeing cards like this all spring and now into the summer. Finally decided to give it a try. Found the instructions on SCS.

Tickled Pink Layout #3
I don't take good photo's, but the baby sure looks cute. In the page below I also stamped on some chipboard flowers. The less I had the cut out the happier I was.

Tickled Pink #2 Let me Count the Ways
This layout is all about the many faces of MaKayla. It has the birth announcement and pictures that were taken the first month of her life. It isn't finished yet. I have to actually count the ways, but I don't like my handwriting and don't want it to be on a computer either. I am going get my mom to write on it. Her handwriting is very pretty.
Below is a close up of the first page. My sister made the announcement at Walmart and I think it goes great with this kit. I will have a list of things about the pictures on the other page when it is finished. I really like the flowers on this page. They layers are really cool.

Tickled Pink Layout
Well I finally got some scrapbooking done. This kit was a special last month with CTMH. I tried to follow the directions that were given, but I never end up doing what the instructions say. I really liked this paper for my new Nieces first pages. I used scissors to cut between the petals on the flowers to make them 3-D. I used some pop-dots, but didn't want it to stand out too much.
In the close up below you can see the flower petals are curled. I used my scissor tips to curl the petals. I also used ink to color the crocheted flower. All the kids were in love with MaKayla the minute they saw her. She is going to be so spoiled.
In the page below I think my favorite part is the ribbon slides on the paper. I had a little trouble getting the slides to slide. The instructions said to cut it at 1/4 inch, but that was still a little large. The picture is of my sister and her husband with the new baby.
