Dream Big

I thought this was a great little boy card. The card would also work for a Pre-School or a Kindergarten graduation card. I used X7109B Stardust paper pack, B1321 Reach for the stars, and Winter Cozy Chenille Sassy Strands.

CPS Card Sketch 108

Here is my version of the card sketch being sponsored on CPS this week. All products are Close To My Heart. Butterfly is theMarch Stamp of the month. If you want it you only have a few more days to get it. You can purchase it on my website -https://roxie.myctmh.com/Retail/Product.aspx?ItemID=4432
I also used X7099B Woops-A-Daisy Level 2 paper packet and D1330 Connections stamps Set.
I colored the butterfly different. On a piece of white cardstock scribble with watercolor colored pencils( at least 3 different colors). Use a blender pen or waterbrush to blend the colors and then stamps over it. I thought this was a neat way to get color without having to be careful.

Easter box

I found this cute template at Mel Stampz. I thought it would make a cute Easter Treat box. It is decorated with X7108B Daydream Paper packet and I used the stamp set B1324 Bunny Love. The flower is from our local SBS and the bunny is colored with CTMH markers-(Bubblegum, Baby Pink, Twilight, and Key lime) I also used CTMH Buttercup watercolor pencil for the background of the egg. The flower is colored with Creme Brulee ink and a sponge.

I really thought it turned out cute. I printed the template out on white cardstock, scored, cut it out, and decorated it before folding. The hardest part was trying to figure out how to fold it.

A little Birdie

Last week I had club and then I was off to the Missouri Middle School Association at Tan Tara in Osage Beach Mo. Saturday was icky. It was cold, raining and dreary. I guess it was good I was inside and going to meetings. On Sunday afternoon the sun came out as we headed for home( near St.Louis).

At home today is was 70 degrees and beautiful. So when I got home I had lots to do, but this card so reminds me of spring. Just the other day there was a bird setting on my deck.

Supplies used are D1338 Bird Basics, X7108B Day Dream, and D1280 Spot on Backgrounds.

The bird is made using a kissing technique. The solid shape of the bird(D1338 Bird Basics) is inked in Spring Iris and then it is stamped on the Spot on Background to remove the color where the light dots are. I thought it was a cool affect.. The tail is cut separate and then glued down. The ribbon is between the tail and the bird body. The bird's body is pop-dotted to give it some dimension. The background Chocolate paper is textured and sanded.

Mini Wallet Album/Butterfly Wings

Found this idea somewhere online. It is so cute. It holds up to 9 wallets. Really liked the butterflies, so I had to use them. I used D1341 Butterfly Wings, Amethyst, Sweet Leaf, Baby Pink, Heavenly Blue

Be sure to stamp the top flap with it closed. As you can see one of my butterflies is upside down because I didn't.
I love the saying " Love is like a Butterfly, It goes were it please and pleases where it goes" I think that is a great saying.

Yellow piece wrapped around it is 1 inch by 8 inches. I used a brad to close it and attach the butterfly

Here it is partially open

The top and bottom are open, but none of the flaps have been opened yet.

The flaps should open alternately.
The flaps are 2 3/4 by 71/2 and are scored in the middle.

The amythest is cut 4 by 11, It is scored at 1 3/4, 2, 5, & 8 inches. The whole project is really easy. Email me if you have questions. All supplies are Close To MY Heart.

You can't see it well, but she has red hair. This is my sisters 4th child and the only one with red hair. As a red headed aunt I am so happy to finally have a red headed niece.
From what my sister says she has a temper!!!!
Both Mother and child are doing well and expected to be home tomorrow, but I won't be able to see them until Easter. They live too far away. Got to love cell phones and the internet.

Its All About Sponge Bob Square Pants

My Niece loves Sponge Bob. She thinks he rocks. She naps to him, she eats with him, and she plays with him. So naturally he had to be at her Birthday Party. He showed up on her cake and was she excited. She loved everything about her party. Every time she opened a present and it was something Sponge Bob she would yell and show everyone what she got.

To scrapbook the pictures I used CTMH X7108B Daydream level 2 paper packet. I couldn't decide what else to do with the layout and I was at a crop with some friends. One came over and said she had the perfect stickers. They were left over from when her boys were little. I think the paper and stickers go great together.

It still needs a Title and journaling. I will probably use my Cricut for the title, but I am not sure what to put for the title.

Dazzling Toes scrapped in Daydream

My Mom is a very practical person. She loves getting a pedicure, but won't pay for it. She will barter for it, but says it costs too much. So that was the perfect Birthday Present. I went home for her birthday and On a cold day in January with snow on the ground we went to get her pedicure. I wanted to show all the different stages. So you can see the before during and the Dazzling Toes.

I used DayDream paper from Close To My Heart and the stamp set Confidential as well as Journaling J0ts.. It still needs a Heading and I need to finish the journaling, but I am pretty happy with it. I think it needs some bling, just havn't decided what yet. I do like the journal pocket that hides my jounaling. Maybe I need to put some bling on the Journaling tab.

Paper and stamps are Close To My Heart.

See all of our toes. Moms is on the left, mine is Center, and my Godmothers is on the right.
Ihad lots of pictures and this is a technique that my friend Dawnette suggested. It is a was to showcase lots of pictures. I like the way it centers around my toes. I shoud have put my mom's toes in the middle instead.
